Hey there, I’m Therese! Welcome to Captured Daydreams Photography where my “day”dream is to provide exceptional photography services to ensure your most precious moments are captured to be shared as well as preserved for future generations. My specialty and passion is newborn photography although I have a love for photographing all the the moments that happen before and after the start of your child’s life as well- birth, milestone, and family portraits.  I started photographing newborns in 2010 and have had the privilege of working with thousands (yes, thousands- I know it’s hard to imagine) of babies and families since then. In those years I have developed not only a love for capturing those first days of life but also the skills to work with a variety of baby temperaments and personalities. I offer in-studio & on-location photography services within the Chester/Delaware County areas. Thank you for your interest in Captured Daydreams Photography. I hope to get the chance to help you to preserve these fleeting moments that life blesses us with!

Here are some other facts about me:

      • I have worked in the photography industry since 2002 where I started as a sales consultant and wedding album designer for a local studio.
      • I am married and blessed with four children. I’ve been doing this “mom” thing since 1992…. geez, I’m old!
      • My fur babies will always hold a special spot in my heart because they always have kisses for me and never talk back. ( I currently have two dogs.)
      • Ocean City, NJ and Disney World are my happy places.

Where the name Captured Daydreams Photography comes from

I was adopted at six weeks of age and before my parents got me they had to wait four years until a baby was available for them. In that time many prayers were said and I’m sure many daydreams dreamed about the arrival of a precious baby into their lives. They finally got to bring me home July 18, 1973. That Christmas my dad gave me a little book which he inscribed. Throughout my childhood, it sat on the bookshelf in my room although I never gave it much thought.  Many years passed, I got married, had kids and moved twice but somehow that book was still sitting on my bookshelf. My dad passed away in 2005 after a tough battle with cancer. Sometime after his passing I picked up that book again. It was called See You In My Daydreams and here’s what he wrote…

Whether you had to wait four years for your baby or only nine months, there are wishes and dreams for that child before you even know who they are. The moments they are young go by too quickly, I can attest to that firsthand. Capture these memories while you can. Preserve them…if not for you, for them and the generations to come. Thank you for your interest in Captured Daydreams Photography. I hope to get the chance to help you to preserve these fleeting moments that life blesses us with!
